Aerobics + Resistance = Increased Weight Loss
|
A study by Dr. Wayne Westcott, a researcher for Y.M.C.A.s of America, reports that over an eight-week period, women who performed thirty minutes of aerobic exercises three times a week:
- Lost 3 lbs of body-fat
- Lost ½ lbs of muscle
Whereas, women who performed fifteen minutes of strength training and fifteen minutes of aerobics three times per week:
- Lost 10 lbs of body-fat
- Gained 1 ½ lbs of muscle
Strength training is the missing component from many diets and exercise programs. Without strength training, 40% of the weight you lose is lean tissue or muscle. As a result, you lower your metabolism and inevitably the weight you have worked so hard to lose comes back.

Simply step up onto the Bouncerciser, holding onto the Freedom Bar for stability. While still holding the Freedom Bar, gently bounce. Your feet never need to leave the mat. Start with only five minutes, and gradually increase your bouncing time and frequency of your bouncing sessions.
Add variety to your workout with all the different exercises.
The Freedom Spring System consists of a specially engineered, trapezoidal Freedom Spring Bouncerciser (mini trampoline or rebounder) with the original Freedom Spring Overhead Resistance System.
The Overhead Resistance System includes an easy-to-install stationary bar that fits in any conventional doorway. It also includes the Freedom Bar that attaches to the stationary bar with adjustable straps. Plus, three pairs of resistance cords of varying strengths are included, to accommodate your individual needs. The resistance cords may be attached to the stationary bar or to the Freedom Spring rebounder.

2. A Stabilizing Bar needs to move with you for optimal stability and efficiency of use. The Stabilizing Bar should NOT attached to the rebounder or mini trampoline.
3. High quality, soft bounce springs that are not directly attached into the frame.
4. Trapezoidal shaped rebounder or mini trampoline is more efficient for space and use than the old-fashioned circular rebounders.
5. FUN. If you don't enjoy using it, you won't!
